I am a qualified and registered mental health counselor/psychotherapist and Mental Heath Social Worker. I work holistically to manage mental, emotional and spiritual distress and crisis.

The exciting field of neuroscience provides the scientific evidence that we cannot isolate the brain, body and spirit - that we cannot isolate our internal world from the external environment. Neuroscience has proved the plasticity (ability to change) of the brain. You can build new neural-pathways and highways and choose the thoughts and feelings you want – choose your emotional masterpiece and mindset.

Babette Rothchild, as do all therapists, who use brain’s plasicity (the brains ability to change) understand that physical, mental, emotional and spiritual ‘shock’ is felt by the body as a trauma. The body and brain react with the Fight and Flight response. Soothe Your Spirit has focused activities of education, life-strategies and distress regulation/reduction skills with bonus videos.

You can move through the activities at your own pace and need. However you will get more from the investment in yourself if you follow the activities step by step and complete all the activities.

You may already have some of the skills to develop the daily practices or they may be very new to you. You can always come back to the activities and repeat them as many times as you like. The activities are always there for you if you get off track or experience unexpected distress in your life.
